The A&K DMR (AK25) is a heavyweight, very solidly built Designated Marksman Rifle almost entirely constructed from metal with a high strength polymer pistol grip, and sniper style stock which houses the battery.
This rifle has a flip up front sight, and a folding/removeable rear sight. As a true DMR the rifle is set to semi auto only.
The SR25 style magazine holds 300 rounds. This also comes with a QD silencer which screws onto the flash hider.
Internally the A&K gearboxes now feature a quick change spring system. A&K replaced the standard 6mm gearbox bearings used in their previous gearboxes with the larger, more durable and efficient 8mm bushings as well as reinforcing the gearbox shell itself. All of these upgrades improve the durability and reliability of A&Ks DMR system and allow for the use of LiPo batteries up to 11.1V.
