Based in the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas USA, Nighthawk Custom is world famous for their high quality custom 1911 pistols which are the market leader for high performance shooters and competition shooters. As seen in the MAGPUL DYNAMICS video used by the instructors, Nighthawk Custom pistols are refined to the highest levels of craftsmanship. Chris Costa & Travis Haley both use Nighthawk Custom pistols in their 1911 instructional classes, which says a lot about the quality and performance of Nighthawk Custom 1911s. The RECON is based on a special model that Chris Costa designed for Nighthawk Custom. Previously, this pistol was sold under the former brand RWL, which has now been renamed to RWA. RWL and RWA are really the same brand but all future models of this pistol will be sold under the new RWA identity. We've included some reviews here for your convenience. Even though they may refer to this pistol as an RWL, it's the same RWA pistol you see here. This version is the 2nd edition of the same gun, and enhancements include moving to a solid trigger and using hex grip screws as seen on the real NHC Costa Recon.
