In the Specna Arms CORE™ support rifles, some of the components have been made from polymer plastic to reduce weight and make the rifle more manageable. The polymer parts are mainly the body, the stock, the buttstock, the breech cover, the bow-tie with base, the magazine and the pistol grip.
From metal made other parts such as the external barrel, the magazine seat and the flame suppressor.The Specna Arms machine gun also comes with several steel parts, and these are: bipod, external barrel lock, butt rest, trigger guard, transport handle and all pins and mounting components.

The rifle's quick-change spring system ESA™ enables quick and efficient adjustment of the replica's power to the conditions expected on the field of play without the need for access to a workshop or a range of specialist tools. The process of replacing the mainspring itself takes literally a few seconds - just remove one pin, pivot the hinge of the buttstock and remove the guide along with the spring through a hole in the gearbox frame.
The replica is powered by a full-size, metal and armoured gearbox of the M249 type, which is characterised by high durability and a good culture of operation in stock. The mechanism is prepared for further tuning and ready for the stresses of running the firewall. Internally, components such as:
