Specna Arms J-Series™ airsoft rifles are made largely from steel. Steel components include the barrel, breech chamber cover, outer barrel, trigger guard, magazine catch, selector wing, gas tube, stock sling eyelet, extractor, stock catch, stock and pins and rivets. The rest of the metal parts are made of zinc and aluminium alloy, and the special coating used to finish them gives the replica a very realistic look. Like the fireable original, the pistol grip and magazine are made of polymer polymer, while the handguard and gas tube cover are made of varnished wood.

The replica fits seamlessly with most types of magazines made by Cyma, JG, E&L, Bolt, fitting magazines of other brands may require minor modifications. The set includes two polymer mid-cap S-MAG magazines with a capacity of 130 rounds.

The J-Series™ airsoft guns are powered by the reinforced ORION™ V3 Gearbox, which features a high stock culture. The mechanism is prepared for further tuning and ready to work with M140 springs.Inside, elements such as:
