The trigger control system supports the replica's performance, and allows programming of functions easily using the trigger and selector.

The X series is Specna Arms' answer to the very popular trend of machine airsoft guns based on the AR-15. Thanks to its compact size and solid workmanship, the replica is a very good choice for CQB games. In addition, the replica can prove itself as a backup for a sniper or an RKM operator. Moreover, the nylon fibre reinforcement makes the design more robust than other polymer constructions.

TheSA-FX01 is fitted with a frontal RIS rail , with the barrel terminating in a standard discharge device. Folding sighting instruments are mounted on the dorsal RIS rail.

Nylon fibre-reinforced polymer is used for the barrel, free-float front sight, slide with Light Ops type buttstock and pistol grip. Aluminium is used for the barrel, flame damper, enlarged reloading handle and manipulators. All screws, pins, belt anchors and the dummy lock are made of steel, while the body is marked with the serial number.

The replica is fitted with a minimalist Light Ops stock. The Light Ops extendable buttstock has rubber non-slip panels on both sides acting as cheekpieces, and a distinctive curved rubber buttstock that sits comfortably on the shoulder.

The replica uses the quick-change spring system, ESA™. This allows the power of the replica to be quickly and efficiently adapted to the conditions expected on the field of play without the need for access to a workshop or a range of specialist tools.
