Built by G&G from the ground up this weapon is rather unique, based on a .308 styled AR receiver this weapon really stands out from the crowd with its larger profile and magazines. This Airsoft AEG Gun is part of their top quality range, with durable and robust materials which are sure to last.

G&G TR16 MBR 308WH: Custom Made .308 Style Receiver

The biggest stand out feature of this weapon is the custom made .308 style receiver, which is designed to mimic .308 style rifles commonly used in the real world as designated marksman rounds thanks to their higher calibre, making it a great starting point to any DMR load-out, or even as a base for advanced DMR builds thanks to its advanced features. The weapon features G&G's ETU integrated MOSFET system, an electronic control unit which is highly advanced with multiple features. The ETU is designed to add features, as well as protect the weapon, with battery protection to prevent the weapon from firing when the voltage is too low, along with motor jam and spring compression detection should the worst happen. The ETU also adds the ability to reprogram the weapon in full auto mode, allowing it to be configured to fire in three and five round burst modes, and can be changed back to full auto mode should it be required. The ETU in this edition of G&G's rifle is also the latest version, being 50% smaller in size, but with all the features you would expect from the original version, a much needed improvement allowing larger Airsoft Batteries to be stored in the stock.

G&G TR16 MBR 308WH: ETU System

Thanks to the ETU and the new magazine design the weapon now features a fire-stop system which prevents the weapon from firing when the magazine is empty, or when no magazine is inserted. The Airsoft Magazines are specially designed with a button on the rear of the magazine which extends when no BB are in the magazine, and the feed nub is extended so it can be detected by the system. Unlike other the extended nubs found in other brand's magazines G&G's are designed to fold, preventing the nub from being snapped or damaged if the magazine is forcefully placed by accident into the magazine well. The magazine is also semi-transparent, specifically designed to allow you to see the internal mock .308 rounds for added levels of realism, along with a 40 round mid-cap magazine design. This rifle is a must have for any Airsoft player who appreciates the uniqueness of a .308 style receiver, or for those who are looking to build a DMR themed loadout, or even as a base for those who are looking to build the perfect DMR which looks the part.
