The LCT Airsoft AK-47 Rifle (LCKM63) is a real wood and steel constructed Airsoft AEG Gun replica of the Hungarian AKM design, which features an integrated foregrip, AMD-style handguard/heat shield. It is made to a stunning standard using real wood furniture as well as an almost completely steel external construction, which makes it feel very realistic and incredibly sturdy.

The handguard is the focal point of this rifle, and is made from a perforated sheet metal with an integrated real wood foregrip which is angled in such a way that it looks backwards, but actually provides excellent support and ergonomics. The receiver has been made to a highly realistic standard via stamped steel, in the same way that the real thing is built. This also means that you get the amazing oily smell out of the box, which is residue from the stamping process, and a nice reminder that your AK replica has been built to the highest standard. The rear of the rifle features a typical AK solid stock which is real wood, and feels fantastic to the touch. This is also where your Airsoft Battery will be housed, and needs the butt pad to be removed by taking out the two screws to access a Mini Tamiya connector inside, where you will find plenty of room for a LiPo Stick or NiMH Block Battery. Internally the rifle features a 9mm bearing Version 3 gearbox, coupled with a CNC aluminium piston head and cylinder head, as well as a 22,000RPM motor and 18 AWG wiring.

The replica is rear wired, and features a Mini-Tamiya connector inside the solid stock which is accessed via the butt pad. The iron sights at the front are quickly adjustable for range, which could actually be useful in an airsoft skirmish. There is a front and rear sling loop for the addition of either a traditional AK sling or any kind of standard sling that you want to use. The fire controls will be familiar to anyone who has used an AK platform replica before, and the ambidextrous Airsoft Magazine release will be a welcome addition to any left handed players who want to use this platform. The HOP is adjusted via a slider, which is easily accessed by pulling back on the charging handle. The thread protector at the end of the rifle can easily be removed to reveal a 14mm CCW thread which will be compatible with most Airsoft suppressors and other muzzle devices. To remove it simply hold the spring-loaded pin and unscrew the thread protector.
