A pistol replica made by an acclaimed Umarex company. Thanks to full license of Italian Pietro Beretta S.p.A, we can feast our eyes with original markings placed on the replica and authentic name. This is a replica of one of the most recent pistol models in Beretta’s catalogue. Original APX is a semi-automatic pistol intended for the military, operational groups and civilian use. It premiered during IDEX display in 2015. The model as a modern modular pistol and multi-caliber has a chance to replace M9 Beretta 92FS used thus far by the U.S. Army. The slide of the replica and internal elements were made from metal. High quality polymers were used for the production of the skeleton, magazine base and trigger. All parts fit very well together. On the right side of the skeleton is a simple and comfortable safety that can be operated by an index finger. The replica is powered by a standard 12 g CO2 capsule installed in the grip. The pistol has Blow-Back system - i.e. a mobile slide imitating slide’s recoil when firing. The recoil system adds more realism to usage and its significant “kick” resulting from the power source provides a lot of fun. The slide, as in the original, remains in the rear position upon emptying of the magazine, which adds an additional dose of realism. The replica comes with a magazine with a capacity of 15 BBs. Thanks to the placement of a CO2 capsule in the grip, the lifetime of the replica has been extended and the cost of additional magazines, due to simplified construction, is very low. A big advantage of this construction is the placement of a Picatinny rail under the barrel, which allows for seamless attachment of a flashlight or a laser sight.
